EMPLOYEE POLICY1. Your pay rate is determined by what you do. There is no one skill that is going to earn you a high wage. Each employee must use many skills to enhance his position in the company. The most important quality is being to work on time, and being there every day. Lack of attendance is the biggest hindrance to a worker’s advancement and continued employment. It has been Steelcon’s policy to keep employed the workers that come in every day, even through the thin times.

Vacation Schedule and Eligibility. After one full year, one week off, paid for five days. Same after each subsequent year. 3 . Paid Holidays. After working a full ninety days, and working the day before and the day after the holiday, the employee is eligible for the following paid holidays; · Spring Break (approx. 1st Friday in March) · July 4th · Labor Day · Christmas 4. No use of alcohol or drugs before or during the workday. 5. No personal objects in shops before, during or after work hours. 6. Safety glasses and steel-toed boots must be worn. One set of safety glasses will be given to employees every two months; employee must purchase replacements. 7. Earplugs and respirators are available upon request, and should be used when warranted. 8. Gloves will be sold to employees at our cost, payment made by deduction on paycheck. 9. Personal Tools each employee should have: · 12” adjustable wrench · 30 foot tape measure · Welding helmet with hard hat attachment · Hard hat w/ welding hat attachment · Cutting goggles · Stricker · Welding gloves (gauntlet gloves) · Chipping hammer · Tip cleaners · 2 or 3 lb. hammer · 12” combination square · Center punch · Chalk line · Torpedo level · 10” slip joint pliers · 6” needle nose pliers · Slotted and Phillips screwdrivers TO ALL EMPLOYEESSteelcon, Inc. believes that you, as employees, are our most important and valuable asset. · To show good faith in complying with all safety laws and ordinances. Our goal is to suffer no accidents in any of our operations. However, this cannot be achieved without the enthusiastic support of all employees. Thus, we expect each employee to: · Comply with instructions of supervisors.
· Report all accidents and injuries to his supervisor immediately.
· Make suggestions for safety and efficiency.
· To know their exact duties in case of emergency.
EMPLOYEE TRAINING PROGRAM HAZARD COMMUNICATION 1. EXPLAIN “HAZCOM” A. A written program is required a. Show copy of written program to employee B. Program is available at the shop and field jobsite’s tool shed or in each pick-up truck C. Vice-President is responsible for “Hazcom” 2. LABELS A. Requirement of Hazard Communication Standard a. Label not needed if for immediate use 2. Immediate use; if used by the same person for one shift B. Label must have the same identity as MSDS 3. MATERIAL SAFETY DATA SHEET (MSDS) A.
