| Since 1977, Steelcon has been fabricating and erecting steel in
Arizona. Our projects have been many and varied.
We approach every project with the latest technology and highly trained
employees.
The company was started by Jake McCorkel in Tucson, Arizona. Smaller jobs
kept being replaced by larger jobs and in 1980, Jeff Thomas joined the company
as a part owner.
After completing several large jobs, including the La Paloma Resort, located
in Northwest Tucson, a large fabrication shop and office were built on 3 1/2
acres on the Northwest side of Tucson. Seven years later we moved back
into our old shop at our present location on East Pennsylvania.
